Welcome to Holloway School's Website
Charity event - Thursday 12th December.
Tickets are on sale for this exciting event. They are £2.00 and available from the school office. We are raising money for two charities - one local, Cutbush House and Crisis at Christmas. We welcome families and friends but just a reminder that pupils and students must attend with a responsible adult. Students will be performing music, drama, dance and poetry so it promises to be a great evening of entertainment. There will also be tasty refreshments on sale along with lovely small gifts to stock on those last minute presents.

GCSE Results 2013
This year Holloway students celebrated record-breaking results for the school as they collected their exam results on Thursday 22nd August -
87% of students have achieved five or more GCSEs or equivalent
Several GCSE subjects, including triple Science, Statistics and IT at Holloway School saw pass rates above Grade C at over 90% - well above national averages.
Early indications show that this has contributed to 46 % of students at Holloway achieving five grade Cs or better including BOTH English and Maths well above floor targets, but still a dip on last year's performance.
In addition Holloway school has done well again in the perceived 'harder' subjects especially Science. A greater number of our students have achieved 8 or more passes at Grade A and A* than last year.
Bob Hamlyn, Headteacher at Holloway School, said: "It's inspiring to see our students' results. They have impressed in many areas. These results set our students up for the future, whether their next steps are further education or an apprenticeship.
"I know our students are proud of their achievements and I congratulate them, but I'd also like to acknowledge our staff and our community, for the invaluable support afforded to our students. I know we have work to do to make sure we address areas where the results fell from last year, but as OFSTED told us last time, we are a Good School – with the capacity to keep improving"

Future First and Holloway School
Future First is a charity that helps schools and colleges stay in touch with their students after they leave. We will be working with Future First to help us to keep in touch with former students and keep us up to date with how and what they are doing once they have left school. It can also present the possibility for former students that would like to take up various opportunities with us here at Holloway School that may arise once they have left.
If you are a former student of Holloway School and wish to join, then you can use this online registration form
to sign up.
