Transition Dates 2012

The Year 5 Girls' Transition Programme
The current year 5 programme has now finished and the last session was a great success with pupils participating in football and ICT. Two of our parent ambassadors handed out certificates and a little treat at an achievement assembly.
The ten sessions have been a great success with over 60 year 5 girls participating from several primary schools. The girls have enjoyed a range of activities:gymnastics, trampolining, art, design technology and science lessons, football and ICT. The science and art sessions were featured in the Islington Gazette. Thanks and well done to all the girls who attended and to their parents and carers for supporting them. Mr Hamlyn has started visiting primary schools to talk to year 5 classes about Holloway School. We look forward to seeing many of you in your school and at our open mornings and evening in the autumn term.

Holloway Pupils Star at Jack Petchey Awards!
Well done to all from Holloway who received Awards and performed at the Jack Petchey Islington Schools Awards Ceremony. Special thanks to Kellie Hodgson, our librarian and Jack Petchey Awards organiser, and the Music staff (Mr Davies and Mr Gustard) for putting together such fantastic entertainment for the evening.
